This is pretty blac, both thematically and literally. But I like the tension between the narrative about murder, vengence and redemption and the upbeat jazz score.

This is a classic in literature and art no matter where you call home. This takes the Immortality to be more of a nightmare than a dream. The only problem is visually the first episode is dark as in hard to see. Thankfully, the animators crank the contrast up in the second episode.
