Shine On! Bakumatsu Bad Boys - an mid-1800s era Sentai show. The show has that Okami/Ukiyo-e grain filter over it to give it an oldschool feel. Let's them get away with fewer animation frames while still maintaining a feel for the action. The Red leader archetype is interesting in that he's illiterate, in addition to the usual traits

Off kilter anime with host of odd ball characters. Fun rompt but lacks the punch needed for a first episode.
