When Canadians get noticed in foriegn shows, WE notice! Hats off to producers of Wizard Barristers - Benmashi Cecil for making not only the lead character from CANADA but also from Green Forest, Ontario. =) Sporting a maple leaf on her Red & White cycle helmet is SO Canadian without having to drag other stereotypes like maple syrup and beavers ... but then the series is still young. =) As for the rest of the series, prejudice seems to be a big theme in Japanese animes of late. Not that it's a trend but I hope that if anything sinks in, I hope we learn prejudging is wrong.

I love flashy magic in a modern setting, and the premise is OK, but the characters don't engage me. They're just a bunch of sterotypes trying to mesh serious with cute or noir and the result just doesn't work. The costumes and special effects are OK though.

I think this the work of the Mezzo Forte guys. lookin' good so far.

Norio Wakamoto. That is all.

Very interesting, combining detective work with magic, kinda simular to Full Metal Alchemist.
