Champignon no Majo
Deep within the Black Forest teeming with poisonous mushrooms, a witch named Luna lives alone. With skin that is poisonous to the touch and a breath that will kill if close enough, she is forced to stay secluded from nearby civilization. Even with these conditions, Luna still visits a nearby city to deliver medicine and buy new books to read. Despite Luna having never done harm to any of the city’s residents, many are scared to associate with her, as she is a black witch in a kingdom ruled by white witches. Only able to watch from a distance while people receive her medicine and freely converse with one another, Luna is drawn toward their lives, even if it sometimes means putting herself in danger.
Au cœur de la Forêt-Noire, grouillante de champignons vénéneux, vit une sorcière nommée Luna, une recluse. Sa peau est toxique au toucher et son souffle mortel, ce qui la force à se tenir loin de toute civilisation. Malgré ces conditions, Luna se rend régulièrement dans une ville voisine pour distribuer des remèdes et acheter de nouveaux livres. Bien qu'elle n'ait jamais fait de mal à aucun habitant, beaucoup hésitent à l'approcher, car elle est une sorcière noire dans un royaume gouverné par des sorcières blanches. Observant de loin les gens recevoir ses remèdes et converser librement, Luna se sent irrésistiblement attirée par leur vie, même au péril de sa propre vie.

From the onset, the animation style did not impress me, but I did get used to it. Aside from that, I found this to be a mairly milquetoast show. It might be okay for those who want a fairy tale slice of life, but it didn't really hold my attention.

Nice Music. Has a real european fairy tale feel to it. Melancholy, a little romance, and a darkness just under the surface.

Weird little slice of life fairy tale about a quiet and solitary but not lonely witch who lives through alchemy, imagination and books. It's not quite clear from the pilot if it's the setup for a romance, a morality tale, or what.

There is a fairy tale charm to this show. The whole production is top notch but for those looking for action anime, this how may be a bit of a bore.
