I suppose if the Japanese Space Agency is willing to sponsor a TV series that shows a simular outfit launching faulty rockets, driving their only austronaut right off the deep end, shooting (smaller) rockets at adolescent girl and then recruiting her for a supposedly simple ''part-time job'', they must have a pretty good sense of humour about what they do. Hopefully that also means they're not too uptight about bikinis, because the Solomon Islands setting should certainly allow for a few. | I suppose if the Japanese Space Agency is willing to sponsor a TV series that shows a simular outfit launching faulty rockets, driving their only austronaut right off the deep end, shooting (smaller) rockets at adolescent girl and then recruiting her for a supposedly simple ''part-time job'', they must have a pretty good sense of humour about what they do. humanbean
an entertaining dramatic comedy that successfully avoids traditional anime visual cliches.

A first episode I haven't previewed before showing but I have peeked at later episodes. Somewhat slow at first but adds the set of characters in a natural way. The characters act like real people. Timely show with the real new space race now underway.

I suppose if the Japanese Space Agency is willing to sponsor a TV series that shows a simular outfit launching faulty rockets, driving their only austronaut right off the deep end, shooting (smaller) rockets at adolescent girl and then recruiting her for a supposedly simple part-time job, they must have a pretty good sense of humour about what they do. Hopefully that also means they're not too uptight about bikinis, because the Solomon Islands setting should certainly allow for a few.
