New York City 1930s Time Shifting And a whole whack of main characters and then you get Baccano!

This is one anime I'll definately need a sub for. There are a lot of animes that i can wing w/o a sub, but this one jumped around a lot. But don't get me wrong, it was most excellent. With it's funky 1930s music, and mobsters (i assume) and oosies. (I can't spell it, but that mobster rifle thingy) And there's blood! you can't go wrong with blood.

Also a nice cast, including Yoshino Hiroyuki (Yoshimori, Kekkaishi) & Koyasu Takehito (Aya, Wiess) & Fujiwara Keiji (Reno, FFVII:AC)

seen the promo on the web. It's during the prohibition period and everyone is after the 'Eternal Elixer'. As the promo ends with the phrase 'But who will have the last laugh.'

it looks good. Will it be good is the question. I'll see about setting up the summer shows shortly on the wiki.

alias it could be the worst thing in the entire world, and I'd still watch it for Yocchin. ^^ Koyasu is a happy bonus. And well I likes Morita as well, and Fujiwara, and prolly others which are eluding me at the moment... Oosaka? Maasya Oosaaka? O-- darn it.. i can never remember his name. XD Um TeniPuri's Momo & Trigun's Vash. XD

Well I've been busy putting together pages for Summer season of shows and got to Baccano!

You can get a better idea of what Baccano! really is with the set of links at the bottom of our review page.

It (along with shows like Melcholy of Suzumiya Haruhi) are based on light novels. Baccano means noise but more like 'stupid commotion' as they author puts it. The stories in Baccano are slightly related.

BTW, flappers were the Roaring 20's and not the Dirty 30's in which most of Baccano's stories take place.

Well, just saw the first ep. Awesome title sequence. As zelman mentioned earlier, it pretty damn bloody. Theres a ton of characters too.

2nd eppie didn't have Firo or Luck. :/ But Morita was in it a bit. His character is the Young Conductor (no clue on his name) Morita does Ichigo's voice in BLEACH, and also did Hihara's in la Corda.
