Sekirei: Pure Engagement

In Tokyo in the year 2020, Sahashi Minato has failed the college entrance exam twice, is awkward around women, and unemployed. One day, Minato meets a girl named Musubi, who literally falls from the sky.
Minato soon learns that she is one of the Sekirei and he is her Ashikabi, a human with special genes that allows them to form a contract with Sekirei. This binds the Sekirei to him and allows them to use their full power in the Sekirei Plan, a dangerous and deadly competition organised by Hiroto Minaka, chairman and founder of the mysterious and powerful MBI Corporation. Minato finds out that being the partner of a beautiful girl is not all fun and games, especially when he discovers that an Ashikabi can have more than one Sekirei partner — and that's where the real trouble starts.

Feels like there's some back story missing. Or maybe I'm overthinking a show that's so top heavy.

This looks like a pretty standard harem/secret tournament series. Of course, the bountiful cleavage is nice but I didn't find any of the characters very engaging. The 'escaped gladiatrices' premise showed some promise but I proberly won't bother watching any more of it.

Michael Eh?

This episode does little to created the mood for second series of Seikirei. A 5 minute recap of the last series would have done better rather than each character giving their take on what has happen. Taking the entire episode to leave us even more confused ... even if we had watched the entire previous series. Anyone who like this series may be best to skip the first episode and couple others until they get to actual plot.

I thought the series is cute x3 i dont really mind the pervertness to this show , i've read about this show in one of my magazines , but it was a review of the first series of sekirei , i actually never watched this series , i kinda didnt know about it , til now and its really cute and neat maybe i'll see some more but i'll probably watch the first series first it makes more sense x3 so my thought about the series is that its cool.

usual dime-a-dozen elements u see in anime; harem, gratuitous boobies, super-powered combat, etc...
