After several failed attempts and late night session, I've finally
got the Cosplay idol videos and picture gallery up. About 8 gigs
of raw video compressed into 25 megs for web space. That leaves ust the
con reports for each day as well as maybe some more DV videos taken on
Sunday. For the most part, everything in finally up.

Painting and flooring done in my apartment, today I got around to compiling
the digital camera footage after having to do a reinstall on the computer.
Next step is the Cosplay Idol footage from the miniDV camcorder.

Finally day 2 photo gallery is up with several video clips still to
process.

With about 9 hours on the bus and busy con over the weekend as it was,
I managed today to get through day 1 photos and audio clips. A couple
of video clips will have to wait.

Well I just got back late from Spring Toronto Anime Con. I try to dig
out my computer equipment to backup my pictures and videos. Come 8:30am
I will be back on a bus heading to Toronto for day 2.
The camcorder worked well but not perfect. I didn’t have much time to
play with the features nor practice shooting video. Some of the video capture
was less than idea and largely due to my inexperience with this new toy.
Still it was worth the expense and will pay off in the long run. I will
try to shoot for having pictures and videos up on the website first then
I will look into a way of creating a decent editted version to possibly
torrent once things are out of the way.
I will be having our regular club meeting Monday as well as my apartement
being worked on this week My primary concern is backing up the pictures
and videos first before editing.
March 8th 2006
I finished the blank pages tonight so it will allow me to drop in content
quickly. I've improved the layout by removing alot of unnecessary
nested tables. Plus also I keeping a copy of pages to ease setting
up as events come and go.
I haven't been able to setup blogging directly from a con yet.
Though I do plan to do this in the future.

I headed to Toronto early to pickup a Samsung miniDV camcorder which
was on sale. Hopefully this year, I will be able to record all of
the entire Cosplay Idol. However, I only have one battery.
