You figure me lazy for getting this final gallery and report up so
late. Well, partially right. It doesn't help that the past week I
was helping with roofing a friend's roof. Shingle bundles are 75-80 pounds.
Also sprained my right wrist and strained some muscles on the other arm.
I'm slowly recovering. At least, I can type this without the wrist brace.
If that wasn't enough punishment, I still have the masquerade videos
to go through. I also started a new group just for cosplay and masquerade

September 10-11, 2006
While sifting through day 2 photos, I found more masquerade line up
photos. Enough to add another gallery page. That brings Saturday
photos before the masquerade down to 166. Also 4 more pre masquerade
videos released on YouTube.

Masquerade picture gallery is up... all two pages. I wrote an extensive
report on masquerade. Mostly on how to setup a camcorder to record the
masquerade. Plenty of tips. Also tips on how to do a extremely wide panorama.

Finally day 3, Sunday galleries are up. Still need to flesh out the
con report for that day.

Long break between updates, I've got most of Day 1 finished.

Back from the show and had to fix the menus on Anime North video pages.
I have to eliminate this first so I can keep track of any more 404 errors.

The first priority getting back is of course, backing up the photos
before anything else. Backups are good and I do them daily of my pictures
at a con. It is important to backup your pictures prior to sorting through
them. It will save you from a costly mistake or drive or even card failure.
Yes, I have had memory cards fail. My sister had their hard drive fail.
Taking with it all the photos of the grand kids.
I found that I made a mistake with a camera setting so I have to renumber
the originals before I do a master backup. This doesn't affect the quality
though having two IMG_0001.JPG doesn't help.
