I can always count on Dragon Mango's Mark Squague to come up with something witty with anything past to him. What was outstanding was that Mark manage to imitate Trump's style in the first panel to the smallest detail AND added to his work. Even a friend of the original artist thought the work so far was seamless.
When I first met Melskunk 9 years ago, I thought she had great potential. Enough that I had couple of commissions ordered right at a BBS picnic. It took nearly two days to find her in the artist alley of CNA2005. The search was worth it. Her work then doesn't compare to what it is now. It seems unbelieveable that this strip is the work of 3 artists as it stands. The fourth panel (koma) is alwys the hardest to fill with an artist. Especially on last day of a con when everyone is tired. Rather than risk a poor ending I rather wait for the right person to draw the final panel. |
